The festivities begin in good spirits with the Mattie Philharmonic Society, an opportunity for children and young people to try playing an instrument. It continues with a market of local producers, the presentation of the new range of lawn tractors with demonstration, distribution of gofri, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts, a pumpkin and 50 heaviest chestnuts competition, a concert by the 'Fak'it Nabie' group (Piemontaise Rock&Blues Band), and tasty Pasta e Fagioli (pasta and beans) in the Mattie style. Finally, Apericena (reservation required) indoors, with tasty, typically autumnal samples, some of them featuring the prized Marroni Val Susa chestnuts.
