A story of courage and female emancipation based on Viola Ardone's novel, with the dramaturgy by Giorgio Gallione in collaboration with Ambra Angiolini herself, who marvellously interprets a dramatic and intense monologue based on the very true story of Franca Viola, the Sicilian girl who in the mid-1960s was the first, after suffering violence, to refuse the so-called ‘reparatory marriage’.
