The longest-running Italian festival on LGBTQI+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex) themes returns from 10 to 17 April.
Directed by Vladimir Luxuria and founded by Giovanni Miberba and Ottavio Mai, the festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
The program features 70 films from 26 countries.
There are three main competitive sections: All The Lovers, an international feature film competition; Real Lovers, an international documentary competition; and Future Lovers, an international short film competition.
The exceptional godmother will be Karla Sofía Gascón.
Alan Cumming, the famous Scottish actor and producer, will be awarded the Stella della Mole, the prize that the National Cinema Museum awards to personalities who have left an indelible mark on the world of cinema.
This year's claim, "To Emerge", recalls both the verb to emerge and the message of Turin as a city that stands out for its rights.
