The Pro Loco of Rivarolo Canavese invited the group of artists ‘Blacksmiths in the Soul', from different Italian regions and Japan, to create a wrought iron sculpture on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the town's Alpine Group. The ‘Blacksmiths in the Soul' are a group of artistic craftsmen and friends who have been coming together for years at events to create wrought iron works of different types and sizes to demonstrate traditional craftsmanship. The installations created at the various events are then donated to the host cities, becoming part of the artistic heritage of those cities. An open-air forge will be set up in the courtyard of the Malgrà Castle and a sculpture will be forged: blacksmiths can be seen at work and the work will take shape until the inauguration on Sunday afternoon. Works already created by the ‘Blacksmiths in the Soul' will also be on display.
