Resti Umani, a satirical comedy by Onda Larsen, imagines a second global reordering of identities through the “Law of Reporting”, a system that separates people based on perceived bothersome differences. The result is the creation of countries inhabited by a single person, leading four leaders of these countries to share the same apartment. Between irony and grotesque, they are forced to negotiate the use of essential goods and face the challenges of coexistence. The play reflects on themes of identity, separation, and recognition of the other, offering insights to overcome barriers and prejudices through human connection.
