Absolute debut, Sunday 24 November at 5 p.m., for the performance-concert Tre figlie e un padre (Three daughters and a father). On stage in the Nomaglio Ecomuseum Hall will be actress Viridiana Casali, accompanied on the violin by the Festival's artistic director Chiara Marola and on the cello by the young and talented Claudia Vassia. Three women telling three women: the protagonists of the play are in fact Alessandra, Liliana and Maria Teresa, the daughters of violinist and composer Rosario Scalero. The reading set to music, taken from Liliana's unpublished book of memoirs, retraces the success and wanderings of the Piedmontese maestro, from Vienna to Rome, from the United States to Montestrutto, where he established his last residence. A family epic at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, spanning epochal artistic and social developments with a proudly feminine point of view.
