In the year internationally dedicated to Impressionism, the GAM - in collaboration with the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris - presents an exhibition celebrating the history and artistic career of the only woman among the founders of the Impressionist movement. The exhibition illustrates Berthe Morisot's connection with the poetics of the movement and brings out her highly personal stamp in capturing the transience of the moment, a symbol of the fragility of existence, capable of gracefully representing the elements of nature and reality.
