The Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre Museum Network (AMI) is an inter-provincial, innovative initiative, born in 2011 with the intention of enhancing the museum sites present in the territory through a lasting promotional action, aimed at making them known as parts of a representative system of the territory's culture and traditions. The initiative involves and promotes a group of museum sites that, as a whole, are representative of the culture, traditions, history and landscape of the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre, an area particularly suited to cultural and eco-sustainable tourism. At the same time, it intends to guarantee a certain opening schedule and a satisfactory reception of visitors through the employment of young people who, after a training programme for museum operators, are involved in the management and opening of the museums on weekends during the summer season.
