Founded in 1982 by Marc Minkowski, the ensemble Les Musiciens du Louvre enjoys international renown for its historically informed performances of the Baroque operatic repertoire on period instruments. However, with increasing frequency, under the enlightened guidance of its founder, it ventures into the instrumental world of the 18th century: confirmation of this is the closing concert of the Concerti del Lingotto season, which sees them perform the last three Symphonies of Mozart in strict chronological order. A miraculous triptych composed in the space of a single summer in 1788, crowning Mozart's experience as a symphonist in a synthesis that looks towards the future.
