2024 Torinodanza Festival confirms its international vocation with artists from all over the world and its focus on Italian excellence.
Faithful to its mission, Torinodanza Festival explores the world of artistic creation, juxtaposing the great names of contemporary choreography with the expressions of research and trends emerging on the scene today.
This week’s appointments:
- Friday 20 and Saturday 21, Fonderie Limone Moncalieri: The fight of Tancredi and Clorinda. One of Claudio Monteverdi’s most extraordinary pieces, which in 2024 celebrates 400 years since its first performance, becomes the creation of a multidisciplinary project in which music, song, theatre and dance give life to a happy hybridisation of performance languages
- Friday 20 and Saturday 21, Fonderie Limone Moncalieri: Carcaça. A pièce that combines the memory of popular dances and urban dance styles, in which dance becomes a tool for investigating communities, the construction of a collective identity, memory and cultural heritage.
