Torino is increasingly becoming a reference point for contemporary art in Italia and abroad: museums, foundations, festivals, galleries, cultural institutions, events... Every year, November is the month of contemporary art, with unmissable dedicated events. Here are some of them:
- from Wednesday 30 October to Sunday 3 November, Fine Arts Promoter: Apart Fair, the exhibition for lovers of antiques
- from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November, ILO International Labour Organisation: The Others Fair, independent fair of small emerging realities; SNOS Offices: ‘Paratissima Venti’, a continuous flow of creativity through 350 works ranging from the visual arts to new forms of digital expression; Flashback Habitat: Flashback Art Fair, the fair where art is all contemporary + OGR Torino: C2C Festival, one of the most popular avant-garde and pop music festivals in Europe
- from Friday 1 to Sunday 3, Oval Lingotto: ‘Artissima’. International Contemporary Art, the only fair in Italia dedicated exclusively to contemporary art
- Saturday 2, various venues: Contemporary Arts Night, evening opening of many museums and galleries with performances, meetings with artists, book presentations + TAG Torino Art Night: tours of the exhibitions proposed by Torino’s galleries
- until 3, various venues: ‘Diffusissima’, over 100 national and international artists for exhibitions, installations, performances, workshops and collective works
- until 26 November, various venues: Art Site Fest, festival dedicated to visual arts, storytelling and new writing in historical residences, museums, green spaces, churches
- until 12 January, various venues: Artist Lights, spectacular light installations of contemporary art created by internationally renowned artists
