Big stars and big shows this week in Torino!
On Tuesday 15 at the OGR, a living legend of music will perform: Robert Plant. The artist presents Saving Grace, the project that sees him on stage together with Suzi Dian (vocals), Oli Jefferson (percussion), Tony Kelsey (mandolin, baritone and acoustic guitars) and Matt Worley (banjo, acoustic and baritone guitars).
Also at the Colosseo Theatre: Tuesday 15 Roberto Vecchioni, one of Italia’s greatest singer-songwriters and poets with his new tour ‘Tra il silenzio e il tuono’; Wednesday 16 the Glenn Miller Orchestra in Best of.
The Alfieri Theatre, on the other hand, hosts a great musical for the first time in Italia: Rocky, a breathtaking show full of poetry, extraordinary songs and splendid ensemble numbers. The dates are from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 and from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27.
At the Regio Theatre, finally, Manon Manon Manon continues, a fascinating journey that gives life to a long ‘subjective’ dedicated to Manon Lescaut through the works of Daniel Auber (1856), Jules Massenet (1884) and Giacomo Puccini (1893).
